whoever heard of a racist dog!?

No current updates for the time being!

I've called in sick to work at the last minute today. This has nothing to do with the fact that, coincidentally, Ugly Betty is back on Channel 4 and I didn't want to miss any of it. Honestly.

I'm off to Berlin on Sunday for five days, so I will be offline for a while. To anyone who I owe comments on despair: I will do so as soon as I get back on Thursday, I promise! I didn't think there was much point in deactivating my account, provided that I give comments on people's websites the moment I am able to. And if I get the chance, I will try to do some whilst I'm there.
I'm majorly excited about going, as I've never been to Germany before and have wanted to visit for a few years! My family are quite reluctant to go to the country, so this was a chance I could not refuse (never mind the fact I'm a total travel junkie. I'm probably going to really annoy Hayley on the plane with my excitement.) It's going to be an action-packed excursion, so I am pretty sure I'm going to be tired when I get home. But I am looking so forward to it that I simply don't care! I'd better brush up on my Germany, though, because I've forgotten most of it.

In other news, I think my dog, Poppy, might be racist. Whenever she sees an Asian person, she barks at them and chases them! But she doesn't ever do it to anyone else. It's insane... people are going to think we are some crazy Nazi family who train her to do that... And being that there are at least four Asian families in my small neighbourhood, it's not something we can really try to avoid her doing... I tell her off whenever she does it, but for some reason she still does it anyway - and she's usually very obedient. I have no clue what gave her the idea to act like that, but it is quite distressing at times! You'd think a black dog would be a bit more understanding on the subject of racial prejudice.
