One annoying thing about the snow is that it has caused traffic chaos around this busy city area. A lot of people didn't even turn up to college today... but I did! I'm a good girl like that.
This of course meant that I ended up sitting through hours of pointless lessons in which the students who DID turn up did absolutely sod-all. I mean, how can you continue with classes with a class of only three students in total!?The pink-robots.com Art Contest I've been running on deviantart drew to a close on February 4th. Now I'm waiting for all the judges to send me their scores and comments for all of the entries - how exciting, hmm?
It'll be a while before I can post out all the prizes, though, so there's no big rush. I can't really afford to do so at the moment until I've sorted out my personal finances. That means no shoe shopping for me over the next month or so! *sob*I've been trying to update pink-robots.com as much as possible, my friends. But college is my most important commitment at the moment - please understand this. I've been so unbelievably busy. This hasn't been helped by a recent addiction to my new Nintendo DS and the game, animal crossing: wild world! Nevertheless, I've been fiddling about here and there, as you can see by the list of updates above. I always keep you posted on what I've been up to here at pink-robots.com!
Exciting new development on my gap year plans... yesterday, I spoke to Harry Carlo, a representative for GAP Activity Projects, who just happens to teach at my college. He was able to have a chat with me about all the things I can expect to happen at my interview when it eventually arrives, which put me at ease a little - however, I am still so nervous. I mean, this interview decides whether or not GAP will let me go to China with them - this is a huge big deal indeed!
