) My friends (Amy, Marguerite, Kirsty, Jon and Abi) and I hired a limo for the big night, so we turned up in style - people turned and stared as we got out, so we felt like stars!
As you can see, there was champers in the limousine. Amy and I had about half of it between us by the time we got to our venue, so she and I were quite drunk for a while! I quickly sobered up, though, and got on the dancefloor. We all had a great time dancing the night away! Some people even asked for a photo with me because they liked my dress and a professional photographer from the press took a picture of me and my friends leaving our limousine. All in all, it was a wonderful evening!
The date that I leave for China is fast approaching. I'm excited, but I admit that I'm also quite apprehensive. I'll be moving out of my house for the first time - and what's more, I'll be moving about 6000 miles away.
Quite a big deal, eh?I got my flight tickets the other day, which are sitting in a little envelope on my desk. Every time I look at them, I sort of do a double-take and can hardly believe I'm doing this. But... in a good way!
