I'm glad to say that Dave's development is coming along in leaps and bounds. Since Sunday, he's learned to use the litter tray, explores the house by himself (he gets let out of the sitting-room for periods of time when I can fully supervise him) and frequently has exciting adventures, such as getting stuck on the end of the curtain pole and not quite knowing how to get down!
He's becoming a friendly little thing, as well. He was a bit wary of people at first, because of the harsh treatment he got in his previous home before Beryl took him in and found homes for him and his family. I am glad to say that the mother and at least one other of the kittens has found a home.
I'm also pleased to report that Beryl is planning to have the mother cat spayed before going to her new home - there is such a problem with overbreeding these days.Dave is asleep on my desk right now, basking under the warmth of the table lamp. However, his favourite thing is to sleep on my lap. He likes the company. :3
Money is tight this month, 'cause of the upcoming party and all. I'm somehow meant to pay for a new memory card for my digital camera, transport to London on the day, spending money, and numerous other things I can't actually remember right now. Nngghhh, to think how desperate I'd be if I didn't have my part-time job. I'm trying to cling onto that with all my being at the moment, because I so sorely need the money...
Other than that, I'm afraid that I've not much to say. Only now I have a camera, I can add a lot more features to the site - so there's that to look forward to! Watch this space!
