I am very, very sorry... and really ashamed. I've been so busy lately - life has been a whirlwind of thought and activity. I'd better fill you in on it so you know why I've been so... absent as of late. But I promise I'll try my best to get some more done here. I do love my p-r.com so, after all.Well, firstly, I got through the interview for China. Contrary to my nerves about not looking impressive enough, I managed to really wow them with my credentials, and they ended up pretty much begging me to do it - score one for Sali! A guy from GAP Activity Projects phoned me yesterday to discuss everything, and soon I'll be sending off my deposit to secure my place on the project. Woohoo! I feel so proud. Things are definitely looking up. And I am so unbelievably psyched about next year, now. God knows how hyper I'll be the day before I leave!
College is also... hectic, but cool. I got my report in today. A really positive set of reports, too! All of my teachers say I have a lot of potential and am very intelligent, but it's a case of keeping up the effort and attending all lessons, and handing in all assignments on time... all of these things should benefit my overall attainment and performance in the exams. I have a predicted grade set of 2 A's, a B and a C, which I felt was mighty awesome. All I have to do now is actually achieve those grades in the exams...
Oh, and I have a new look credit card - it's bright flourescent pink. How nifty is that!? I took advantage of this new appendage by purchasing several items of clothing in the store with it. Yay, new clothes = win for Sali. Bearing in mind I have to eventually pay it all off... so I'm trying my best not to go too nuts with it.
