So, like the new layout? I'd long been thinking that the "Pandas" layout was beginning to stagnate, as I've had it since last year - high time I actually made a new one, hmm? The reason I'd left it for so long was because I hadn't judged the Pink Robots Art Contest yet, which was going to determine a new layout design... only since I can't currently afford to send prizes and the judging panel haven't all sent their responses yet, I figured I might as well make a temporary change until I can make a final result. Don't worry if you entered - there will be one.
The college year has now finished, and what a year it's been. I'm amazed I even got through it, to be honest. Here's hoping that I'll be able to truly shine next year. I don't know if I've done well in my exams (I'm pretty sure I failed Politics, for one) but next year I'm hoping to study Psychology along with the other three, which I'm progressing with to A2. (At sixth form college in the UK, the first year is spent doing AS Levels which notch up points towards getting into uni. A2's are the really important bit, where you really progress with your favourite chosen subjects and get even more points for university.)
This gives me six weeks' holiday... but oh no, it's no lazy relaxation period! I have plenty of homework to do over this time. Ugh. I have a 3000-word essay to draft for History, a 500-word essay in French, and a 1000-word essay for English Language. This may seem pretty easy, but they're all on rather challenging subjects, and it will take a long time to do.
I've not actually been up to much, apart from that - hence the distinct lack of recent updates here. I've somehow managed to be really busy, without doing anything really interesting.
Isn't that just the way? However, it's my mother's birthday tomorrow and we're going to ikea on Saturday - that gives me something to do other than homework, at least!
