Well, I have the flu. How completely bollocks is that!?
I seem to have such a talent for getting sick lately. Why not something more conventional, like dancing or javelin-throwing. *lol*So yeah. Four days off college, leaving me pretty miffed at having to catch up on all the notes. Well, it was either catch up on my notes or sniffle, cough and shiver my way through four agonising days, whilst trying not to fall asleep in class with a fever high enough to fry eggs. Erm... no thankyou.
I'm going to try and photocopy someone else's notes, then try and copy up as much of them as I can in my own words. That way, if I don't have time to do it all, I have my friend's notes as a back-up.Dave had a trip to the doctor's too. He's been having his little kitty "ouchies" (that's inoculations, for those who don't speak Daft Baby Talk Aimed At Pets), and has more to come in a couple of weeks. He's now being vaccinated against cat flu, enteritis and leukaemia, all of which are good things to take precautions against. Especially as he is so young and frail. *huggles him protectively* He was very brave, despite one occasion when he fell off the examination table and started to cry (which a pick-up-and-hug quickly solved! ^_^) and received a free Kitten Pack to make sure he gets the best start in life. The vet is concerned that he is a bit weeny for his age, so he is going to go back soon to have his weight monitored again. Dave rather likes the plan of eating tons of food, to him it sounds rather spiffy.
He's on my lap, keeping me warm. Little cutie.
Massive kerfuffle with the bank - Lloyds TSB had a huge delay in sending me my new card, as my purse got stolen recently! D; I had to go to my local branch and chase them up over it, as Head Office in Central London had failed to send me a new one. Luckily, now it's all sorted, I think.
Apparently I should receive my new card by 21st October. Here's hoping, eh? T_T; *fingers crossed*...it's just occurred to me. I should REALLY update that wishlist of mine, especially with my birthday and Christmas on the way!
