I have a new lovely on my darlings list - check out anne's page and say hi!

I'm sending shane bernier an 8th Birthday Card. Are you?

I've been thinking this place is long overdue for a brand new layout, so the sooner I get the results back for the pink-robots art contest, the better. Since changing the colours of my deviantart page, I've had itchy... er... fingers! I will also be making a subdomain for my modelling portfolio, which will need a sparkly layout to draw in viewers... so that's another thing on the agenda.

Exam season is looming ominously on the not-too-distant horizon (Tuesday, actually) which means I have become victim to a state of extreme panic, neuroticism and paranoia. However, I have managed to put off studying all day, and yet I have ironically still complained of having "nothing to do." I think I need to get my act together and do some revision before the big day - or else... ...well, I just don't want to think about it.
My exams are on May 22nd (English Language), June 5th (French and Politics) and June 6th (History.) After that, I'm on study leave until I come back from holiday on June 20th. I go away on the 16th, which gives me a bit of time to just chill. But for now, I must revise hard and earnestly if I want to achieve good grades - please, please, please wish me luck! I need it.

My first photoshoot is on May 27th, and lasts until the following evening - talk about intensive! But I am really, really looking forward to the insight and experience I am sure to gain from the time I will spend there. The shoot itself is in two parts: a location shoot in Birmingham, and a studio shoot in Coventry. The studio shoot alone will take a total of ten hours... so I think I am going to be very tired by the end!
Because the venue is so far away, I've had to plan lodging for the weekend. So, my itinerary has turned from a short stint to a full holiday away from home!

Go to London Paddington Station, with a quick detour to camden markets to pick up a few things. I love that place.
Take a train from Paddington Station, London to Malvern Station, Worcestershire (this journey will take about three hours.) I then spend time with loppi in Worcester, before going to see pirates of the caribbean: at world's end with her family.
I stay overnight at loppi's for two days.
On the Sunday, I then take a train to Birmingham from Worcester, where I meet the people I will be modelling for, and we do our location shoot for the day.
I then get whisked back to a hotel in Coventry for an all-expenses-paid, pampered night in! Excellent!
Not enough time to relax, because then it's off to the studio in Coventry for the ten-hour photo shoot the following morning.
At 6:30PM on Monday, the shoot finishes and I get the bus from Coventry to Victoria Station, London, then to find a train back to Colchester.

Whew! It's going to be tiring, I think... but well worth the time, I'm sure. It's an opportunity I am ever so grateful for having... and one I just can't afford to pass up!
