Getting ready to go back to college this September - all very exciting, but at the same time, I'm scared. I don't wanna screw up. 
I want to work real hard this year and get the grades I'm going for. I know I'm a clever girl and I don't want to disappoint my family or to fail to live up to my potential. I've chosen subjects I will have to work hard at this year, but I dropped Art because the coursework for that is just too time-consuming for me to be able to deal with on top of all my other subjects.This year, I'll be doing:
English Language French Politics Critical Thinking
I'll also be starting my teacher training, if all goes to plan. That's something I'll really be looking forward to - I want lots of experience before I go on to study teaching at University, should that be eventually what I end up doing.
Preparing for college means sorting out all my books and stationery. I bought myself a really nice bag from topshop which I totally love (see the picture?
). It's got unicorns on it - how snazzy is that!? My mother also bought me a new 80's-style bright striped tee shirt, and a woollen 3/4-length sleeve brown sweater. 
I might be able to persuade her to buy me new outfits for college, too. Hee hee! Gladly for me, though, my stuff I used at college last year is still in perfect condition and I decided to just re-use my old ringbinders again this year. It means I'm less likely to have the same stuff as everybody else, and I'll still have pretty stationery as well! :)My mother is redecorating our kitchen. I chose the colour, so the kitchen is going to be this really yummy pale coffee colour called, "Cappuccino." We fancied a change because we're fed up with the house being magnolia all over! *lol* I'm thinking about getting my room redecorated as well. I wouldn't mind painting it a darker than usual - our house is full of pastels. I think my walls would look really nice in a cherry-like, dusky pink.
My room is big enough for it to be a fairly rich colour without making it look much smaller. However, I really should tidy it and sort out all my stuff because I have WAY too many things crammed in that place. It's a fairly large room but it doesn't need all that crap cluttering it up!Oh, and one more thing - September is coming soon, so I'll be picking out my first ever site of the month! If you'd like to reply, by all means do so. ;)
