-- Sir William Osler No current updates for the time being!
I'm still not feeling well. A few days ago, my throat hurt, and I had a stinging pain in my right ear. Then the sore throat went away, and I thought, "Oh, good! It's going away!" I had a couple of days' peace, apart from my earache (which got worse.) Then, yesterday, I couldn't stop sneezing! And today, I feel pretty crappy. My nose is threatening to flood Essex, and I have a dry cough and a stuffy headache, which is a bit annoying. And the bloody earache is still there! You know when you have a mild, not-that-bad cold, but the fact your nose won't stop running makes you feel terrible anyway? Yeah, it's one of those colds. ![]() And I finally get a bloody shift at the pub, only to get sick before... I'm going to do it anyway as it's only three hours and I need the money, but will most likely gross out the customers by snorting and hacking every five seconds. Oh, nevermind. It was my brother's 21st yesterday, so me and Mum and he went to a local Chinese buffet restaurant, called "Temptations." There was a lot of choice, and the food was very good. Most brilliant of all was the price - £10.50 per head, and £5.50 at lunch! I think I'll be taking my friends there soon next time we get a big lunch break at college. I was very impressed. Tonight, I am going to a psychics' meeting at the Headgate Theatre. Abi is into all of this stuff, and asked me to come along with her friends, Shannon and Owen. I have to take a photo of a loved one, and something that reminds me of them - so the psychic can contact their spirits through the objects, or detect their presence so you know they're not just talking complete bollocks. I'm not totally skeptical but I am suspicious as to how they deduce these things. The trick is to let them know as little as possible so they have to work it all out themselves... that way, you know they aren't just playing along with the things you say to them! I'll be interested to see how that pans out.
