Added 18th Birthday Party pictures to photo album

It's 4PM, my head hurts, my arm muscles hurt, my throat hurts, my neck hurts. And I have a curious hankerin' for a KFC. But you know what? I feel just great.

Last night was fabulous. I spent the day in London with loppi, Adam, Michelle, and Adam's friend Rosie. We had lunch in an Italian restaurant in Liverpool Street Station, then we went to topshop and urban outfitters, and raided all the departments in the five floors of the Topshop store on Oxford Street. However, I didn't find anything I wanted to buy - how crazy is that?!
After our brief sojourn in the London shopping district, we ventured to The Well for my 18th Birthday Party. After a long time of searching (and plenty of moaning from my friends, for most of whom this was their first London trip without their parents and got them kind of panicky) we arrived in the bar, soaked from the rain and eager to sit down and have a drink.
At first, as with all parties, it was a bit quiet, but by the time the dark had set in we were off in full swing with the music blaring and everyone getting onto the dance floor. Even my friend Tom joined in with The Macarena! I was wearing my nurse outfit and was surprised to get heaps of compliments, even from complete strangers (and not just the guys - several women asked where I got my outfit from. ) By the end of the night, we were all shattered, but we were laughing our heads off and even brought home a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin champagne with us that we all chipped in for! We'll be drinking that at my place next week...

...oh, and loppi got me the mighty boosh Series 2 on DVD. MAJOR kudos points there, Lopster.

Oh, and I was a brunette for 24 hours, but am now blonde again! XD I missed being blonde way too much to stay with brown hair, even if it did look lovely. I'm naturally blonde anyway, so with highlights I feel amazing. I never realised how much I loved my hair colour, until it was dyed brown. ;_;
Now it's so cool, I have the most awesome haircut and a whole new look. I look so different and I feel wonderful. It's a real confidence booster, which I really do need at the moment.

I rehomed my rats this afternoon. Because of college and work and everything else, I just cannot look after the girls anymore. I'm now able to devote all my time to my cats and my dog, so I have given them to a loving new owner called Louise. She owns lots of other rats, and will eventually introduce Ritzy and Tallulah to the big aviary in which she is keeping them all! I am sure they will have loads of fun, so, even though I'm sad to see them go, I'm glad that they're going to enjoy their new life with Louise.
