DumDum Boys - Enhjørning

UPDATES:

Learn about my homelands, england and norway!

Wow, what a week! I've been so, so busy. I know my updates have lately been somewhat sporadic, but there has just been so much going on in my life that I've gotten the chance to go online comparitively little than before.
Not to say I haven't been updating at all! I've added two new pages, which you'll find in the updates section above. I figured that some people would be interested to learn about norway and england, two magical places on Earth I am proud to call home. Find out about another country and culture by clicking the links!

My mum was in hospital last weekend. She had a severe asthma attack, and was in the Emergency department, which meant I was at home by myself, waiting by the phone for calls from the hospital about her progress. Fortunately, several phonecalls later, I was told she was fine, and the next day we visited her in the ward she was staying in. She's now home, and on the road to recovery. I'm so glad she's okay!
At least one thing came good of this event - it scared her into giving up smoking.

Oh, and I started my new job last night! I'm now a waitress at The Shepherd & Dog Pub, Langham. I mentioned it in a previous blog entry, and now I've started working there. :) I really enjoyed my first night - the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the clients are also lovely to work with. It's got a very camaradial atmosphere, compared to the cold, sterile business functions I endured at previous workplaces. I'm glad to work somewhere more... ...y'know, down to earth? I really hope it continues to be this good. I've never enjoyed earning my keep more.

One last thing - I'm going to see tenacious d LIVE at the London Hammersmith Apollo! I'm so psyched about it, like you wouldn't believe. Those tickets sold out ages ago, and I felt so lucky to get a pair for me and my friend, Hayley. I'll be sure to tell you all about it when I go to the gig!
